I cut off my hair! It's been coming for a while now, I tried to get a free haircut but after that fell through I
resorted to cutting it off myself. It's a little uneven but it's pretty good. I was going to try a shorter, Louise Brooks style cut but I figured I couldn't get that to look good on my own. And actually I like this better. I use less shampoo and my hair is drying much faster than before. Overall, I'm very happy. Though, watch this space for when I regret it all.
Also, I thought the haircut looked great with my little orange hat. It's not so great in the wind because it flies off but so do many of my hats. Also, in the top photo you can see the inside of my room, with my map of Paris (that I found in the rubbish on a Kensington street), owl drawings (from oxfam), and my ship (birthday present last year). I've also included a couple of paintings I thrifted this week. One of a camera cover and bag, and another of two girls at a piano.
And to continue on from the bad pun in the title, no cigar but a pipe...

You, and these photos, are gorgeous! Love your new haircut! :) I'm too scared to try and cut my hair by myself, haha, but you did a great job!
ReplyDeleteWhat did you do with your pretty long hair?
ReplyDeleteI was trawling through some of your old posts yesterday and was thinking how great your hair looked short- now hey presto- its back! Also loving that most of these clothes are 2nd hand. Ethical fashion rocks, would expect nothing less from a fellow Oxfam blogger! Great work!

ReplyDeleteI love your haircut! (You're making me wish I'd stop being lazy and just go to the darn hairdresser already!) Your look is equal parts 20's and 60's, and I think it really works; the colors especially are just right for Fall.
