Now that's it's cold (and believe me, it's very cold) sitting around in the sun is no longer on the agenda. Instead hours of (literal) darkness lie ahead in the winter months. And what better way to spend these dark hours indoors than reading? I love thrifting books; there's always such an eclectic mix, each book has a back story (pun entirely intended), and most of all, second-hand books are really cheap. The book I'm reading in the photos is a Victorian introduction to the universe, I love seeing how their views on science differ from our current ones. Next I think I'll move on to my collection of F. Scott Fitzgerald novels and short stories. What's on your reading list this autumn?
hat//Urban Outfitters sale bag and shoes//Thrifted in Geneva bow//H&M
Etam jacket, Pull and Bear dress, Marks and Spencer girls' tights, Laura Ashley silk shirt, scarf//Thrifted from Oxfam

The outfits looks comfortable, warm and still amazing.Love the tones on the images, mostly the one where you are staring down.

these are sooo pretty! I love that this outfit is cute without being school girl like!
ReplyDeleteI love thrifting books too! They're usually such a great deal. Finding the classics at a thrift store is always way more budget friendly since they seem to mark those up at book stores because all the kids have to buy them for school.
ReplyDeleteI really really love the mix of shades of green in your outfit. You look so cozy for the cool weather. Your purse is absolutely perfect too.
Exactly! I love coming back with an armful of classics for the price of one.
DeleteIt's also nice to not have to buy them for school any more, less of a burden. I insisted that my friend buy the bag and then I stole it from him, hehe.
OMG that squirrel is so lovely! And you look great in that shade of green, my favorite color! :D
ReplyDeleteI have a collection of thrifted fitzgerald books too! Also, I love your outfit.
ReplyDeleteYour outfit is so perfect for the autumn!

i love thrifting books as well! why would anyone pay full price for a book is beyond me (i mean for classics and stuff)? I am reading 'the life of pi' at the moment, i found it in a charity shop a few months ago. i thought i would pick it up now as the film adaptation is about to be released. I have to say, i'm not too impressed so far, hope it will get better xmoira
ReplyDeleteAh, I've been meaning to read life of pi for some time. I've heard so much about it. Let me know if it's worth trying to find!
